I preordered book 7 and couldn’t wait for it to download onto my kindle. I read for a while and was kind of getting bored with it, feeling some disappointment but the. I realized he was weaving in a connection to the Angus Hardgrave series! I was like wow this is amazing! So cool to pull them in together! I loved the Angus Hardgrave series as much as Baer! However, it just never went anywhere, it rambled, left out so much opportunity to really bring them together and blow us away. It just fizzled out leaving my wishing I had not even read the book. I still commend Clayton on his talents and imagination! After reading this I’m Thinking I will read the Angus Hardgrave series again. Nice finish to the series although a little different than the previous six. Not my favorite, but great detail in writing, and funny as all get out. Testicular humor. Read it, you'll see!! This is not to say it's a bad book by any means but reading the earlier Baer editions will put you right in the zone for this. It's been one big adventure for the many Baer fans and long may it continue. Looking forward to reading number eight in the series whenever it's written.
